Britain Attacks U.S. Online Gambling Ban
A Recent Report from AP Business Writer Jane Wardell (Oct 27th) comments on the Britains attack on the recent US legislation against online gambling. Britain’s culture secretary Tessa Jowell compared the US crackdown on online gambling to the failed alcohol ban of the Prohibition. She currently plans on hosting an international summit on Internet Gambling next week. Tessa Jowell suggests that the ban will force the internet gambling underground which will have negative consequences than if a more regulated solution to the internet gambling “problem”
